Sometimes it's what you do and sometimes it's how you do it.

We feel that many artists, writers and other creative professionals want to capitalize on the new paradigm brought about by the digital age but are unable to do so for a number of reasons. First and foremost is the day-to-day business side of things: the connections, the networking, the brainstorming, the sales effort and the paperwork, just to name a few. Probably more crucial is the expertise required to carry out all these things effectively. Let’s face it, there are a lot of artists who just wrote and recorded a great song last night. Next week it will be on iTunes and all their friends will probably buy it. If they’re lucky, they might come up with a really cool video that goes viral. Then what? Where’s the money? There’s always a lot of talk about catching that next fifteen minutes of fame and then you’ll be off and running. It’s the same lottery everyone’s been chasing for years. The reality is that model doesn’t work anymore. The days of achieving one milestone that will leave you set forever are over. If success is priority, then it’s important to accept that this business is still about relationships, strategic planning, adaptation, consistency in ones actions and being realistic.

Our approach brings the key components necessary to work in this new environment together in a unique way. We are able to provide the creative, legal, administrative and other resources necessary for our artists to succeed. This approach streamlines the process and creates a formula for mutual success. This model also significantly reduces overhead by reducing the need to outsource many of those resources. Given the great upheaval in the entertainment business in the last several years it’s obvious that it is time for a change and we think this is an excellent start.
